ISC is an independent craft winery obsessed with making exceptional sparkling wines using the
Traditional Champagne Method.
Our clients wanted their award-winning product to reach geographically further than the Midwest. Bodnar Design was contracted to redesign the company's identity, packaging, print collateral, signage, and website. The brand name was shortened to ISC and the bubble swirl became the identity mark, representing "riddling" – the hand-turning of each bottle over many months which allows for the secondary fermentation. "Perfecting the Bubble" was adopted as the new tagline.
ISC is a sister brand to August Hill Winery (AHW). Both brands are represented on many co-branded pieces such as wine club literature, tasting room/event signage and carry-out packaging for complementary cross-marketing.
The August Hill Winery web site was also designed by Bodnar Design.
For ISC packaging, Bodnar Design was the recipient of a Graphic Design USA American Package Design Award (see below).
